Key features
Multi-color printing
- ACE Pro system: The included ACE Pro unit enables printing with up to four different filament colors. The capacity can be expanded to eight colors by linking a second ACE Pro unit with an 8-color filament hub (sold separately).
- Active filament drying: The sealed ACE Pro unit features a 200W dual PTC heating system that can dry filament at up to 55°C (131°F) for up to 24 hours. It can perform this function while printing, which helps to ensure optimal print quality by preventing moisture-related defects.
- Pantone partnership: Anycubic collaborated with the Pantone Color Institute to create an exclusive palette of filament colors.
- Filament management: The system features intelligent identification, recognizing official Anycubic RFID-chipped filaments to apply the correct settings automatically. It also includes automatic loading/unloading, filament backup, and clog detection.
High-speed performance
- Up to 600mm/s speed: The Kobra 3 can reach a maximum printing speed of 600mm/s, with a recommended speed of 300mm/s. It has a maximum acceleration of 20,000 mm/s².
- Stable mechanics: The printer features SG15 bearings and dual-axis core and dual Z-axis designs to minimize resistance and ensure stable performance, even at high speeds.
- Vibration compensation: A built-in accelerometer automatically compensates for vibration to prevent common printing defects like “ringing” or “ghosting”.
Why Choose Kobra 3 Combo
Smart and easy operation
- LeviQ 3.0 auto-leveling: The upgraded automatic bed leveling system calibrates the print bed and Z-offset automatically during setup.
- AI monitoring: The printer can detect printing failures, such as spaghetti messes, and automatically pauses the print to notify the user.
- Easy setup and use: The Kobra 3 arrives mostly pre-assembled, and its integrated module system simplifies installation and maintenance. The 4.3-inch touchscreen can be tilted for a better viewing angle.
- Mobile app and slicer: Users can control and monitor prints through the Anycubic app. The printer also uses Anycubic Slicer Next, which is based on the open-source Orca Slicer.

Core hardware and design
- Printer structure: It is a bedslinger-style Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) printer, with the print head moving along a gantry and the build plate moving back and forth.
- Build volume: The Kobra 3 offers a print volume of 250 x 250 x 260mm.
- Print bed: It comes with a heated PEI spring steel build plate, which provides good adhesion and allows for easy removal of prints.
- Extruder and hotend: The direct drive extruder features a quick-release, all-metal hotend that can reach up to 300°C. This allows it to print with a range of filaments, including PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PC, and HIPS.
- Multi-color system: The ACE Pro unit is a sealed, heated chamber that can house and feed up to four filament spools. For up to eight-color printing, a second ACE Pro unit can be chained with a separate 8-filament hub.
250*250*260mm, Expansive Printing Space
The Kobra 3 Combo features printing sizes up to 250 x 250 x 260mm, with a maximum printing volume of 4.29 gal (16.25L), increased by a whopping 34% compared to previous 3D printers.

FAQs
What do the ①②③ annotations in the product details mean?
The numbered annotations on the product page correspond to the following explanations:
① It is necessary to connect two ACE Pro printers with an eight-color feeding module.
② Work with the cam
③ To select models from Makeronline and utilize the Anycubic Slicer slicing software, you must access a PC that already has the software installed.
What kind of filament does Kobra 3 support?
The Kobra 3 supports PLA, PETG and TPU. TPU is only suitable for single-color printing and is not suitable for printing with ACE Pro.
The ACE Pro supports PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PET, PA, PC, PP, HIPS.
The Kobra 3 supports most 1KG filaments with the following specifications: outer diameter ranging from 195-200mm, spool thickness between 60-68mm, and outer wall thickness of 3-3.5mm. Also don’t forget to check whether the printing temperature of the consumables is within the temperature range supported by the print head of our machine.
Can the ACE Pro be used with filaments without Intelligent Identification?
Yes. The ACE Pro can precisely detect Intelligent Identification filaments, automatically optimizing printer settings for the best results. If users use filaments without Intelligent Identification, the ACE Pro will not automatically recognize the material and color, users need to switch colors manually when printing.
How to print in multicolor? Can I print in 4 colors with the Kobra 3 if I don’t have the ACE Pro?
The Multi-color Printing Guide has been updated in Anycubic official Wiki, please kindly check it here.It isn’t able to print in multicolor whitout ACE Pro.
How can I print in 8 colors?
Anycubic Slicer Next 1.1.1 for Windows has been released, it requires a firmware update to version V2.3.3.9_1.1.6_1.1.6 for compatibility, the latest firmware now fully supports eight-color printing. Also eight-color printing requires two ACE Pro.
